The Contemplative Photography workshop is a one day workshop offers a unique opportunity to experience a contemplative practice using cameras as a way to expand how you see and interact with the world.

Contemplative photography is a way of getting past our preconceptions and expectations so that we can see more of the beauty around us and capture it with our cameras.

The workshop is open to novice and experienced photographers. It is a workshop for professional artists, amateur artists, artists at heart, or the curious wanting to explore the visual richness of their world.

In this workshop you will learn and experience:

¨ The basic forms: Color, Pattern & Texture, and Light

¨ “Re-image" the way that you think, talk about, and practice photography

¨ Tap into your creativity and inspiration

¨ Expand your awareness and look at the world in a new way

Students will need a digital camera for the workshop and a camera card.

Includes introduction to the topic with instructions, time for taking photographs as a group, and image reviews by the teacher in the group setting.
